LONGEST SERVING PRESIDENT OFFERS TO STEP DOWN

Jose Santos the president of Angola who had been in power since 1979 had finally agreed to step down. The speech he made to the MPLA party quotes “I have
decided to end my political career in 2018 after the countries election that will be coming up in 2017. His tenure at office has made him the second longest serving president after
Equatorial Guinea’s Teodoro Obiang.
