KWARA STATE GOVERNMENT DECLARES BVN COMPULSORY FOR SALARY COLLECTION

The government for Kwara state declare the summition of bank verification number a compulsory document for collection of salary. He stated in a meeting with the Committee on Personnel Database Development in Ilorin that Kwara State workers have only
 seven days to summit their bank verification else there will be no salary accrued to them. He said that workers and pensioners would be able to access their money only after they have obtained their verification number. Alhaji Isiaka Gold, had reported that only 49, 579 of the 82, 642 had valid BVN and 124 had fake BVN and that 329 individuals where linked to 659 separate account. The committee chairmen said the number was to keep payrolls of workers and ensure they are duely paid and encouraged them all to verify their accounts.
