During a meeting of Joint Appropriation Committees of the National Assembly with government officials with regard to the 2016 budget the deputy governor of CBN, Dr. Joseph Nnana reported that, the sum of. $20bn (N3.94tn) has been identified in a domiciliary account of citizens. He saidthis money which have been lying idle in account of citizens is the reason while Nigerian value is failing. He says he hopes that the monetary value of naira increases as the budget is been taken care of.
