The death of pro. Albert Illemobele the vice chancellor of federal university of technology, Akure (FUTA) who passed on  June 2015 has arouse alot of mixed reactions in the university community. These has led to the need of the community to avenge the death of the great icon. Having found Ita Enang & Olayemi Bamitale guilty of the murder the
Ondo State High Court sitting in Akure has sentenced them to death by hanging.
The need to put in check the increase in discrepancies that arise between individuals as a result of financial constraints becomes very important as Enang and Bamitale had killed their boss and hid his body in a garage over financial disagreement.
Having escaped with the deceased car and valuables they caught and arrested while trying to sell them off.
While delivering judgment, the presiding judge, Justice Olamide Williams, said the prosecuting counsel had proved beyond reasonable doubt that the accused persons killed the varsity don for their selfish gain. She thereafter sentenced them to death by hanging
